Carlos and Sandra both had careers in California State Government service for many years.  Thirteen years ago, Carlos and Sandra purchased two land parcels totaling 16-hectares or 40 acres of ocean view land in Nayarit, Mexico.  Carlos and Sandra had a dream to create an ocean view, jungle resort.   This was a huge undertaking that was achieved one step at a time.  They went through all the approval processes for the parcels including the regularization process to privatize the parcels, environmental impact, land use permits, forestry and archeological approvals, subdivision permits and Condominium Regime. Vista Encantada Eco-Club Corporation in Nayarit, Mexico was formed to support the construction and development of their gated community.  

Carlos’s passion for the project brought the attention and support of government entities and individuals from the municipal, state senate and Federal level. Vista Encantada Eco-Club is a model development for the Municipality of Compostela, Nayarit, Mexico.  With the support and friendship of the municipal government of Compostela, Nayarit and strong backing from Carlos’s friends in the Senate, the vision of Vista Encantada Eco-Club has become a reality.
